Las Vegas Charter Bus Rates

Every charter bus trip in Las Vegas is different, and overall pricing is based on a variety of factors. On average, Las Vegas charter bus rental costs are**:

Bus Type Per Hour Per Day Per Mile
Minibus *$126 - $156 *$1,226 - $1,462 *$4.38 - $5.38
Charter Bus *$136 - $182 *$1,322 - $1,676 *$4.62 - $5.56

*The above pricing table is an estimate and the cost of a charter bus rental in Las Vegas is determined by seasonal demand, distance traveled, passenger count, and various factors outlined below.

**A 5-hour minimum is required for all trips. Additional mileage fees may apply for multi-day and long-distance trips.

When you call to book, if you provide a full itinerary with trip dates, destinations, and the type of bus model you want to rent, then we can calculate a personalized charter bus quote with no obligation to book. This way you understand the full cost of your charter bus rental and how it’s determined, so there’s no need to worry about any surprise hidden fees.

How We Calculate the Cost of Your Charter Bus

There are many different factors used to determine charter bus pricing in Las Vegas, including:

Seasonality: It can be more expensive to rent a Las Vegas charter bus during certain times of the year due to demand. Rates are higher during the summer months between May and June due to summer vacations and school events, like graduations and prom. You may also see higher pricing during the winter holiday season and around annual events or festivals that attract large crowds.

Distance: The cost of a charter bus in Las Vegas is determined by day, mileage, or hour. If you’re planning to travel many miles around the city or are organizing a long-distance trip across the country, you may get a mileage rate as opposed to an hourly rate.

Number of passengers: Your headcount will ultimately determine the size of the Las Vegas bus model you rent. Sprinter vans and buses in our network accommodate anywhere from 12 to 56 people, and larger buses are more expensive due to size and fuel consumption.

Parking and other travel fees: Depending on the route of your trip, you may need to factor in the cost of road tolls or parking fees. If you’re staying at a hotel overnight during your trip, then you will also need to budget for your driver’s hotel lodging. (It’s required by law that a charter bus driver must have an eight-hour break after ten consecutive hours of driving.) These fees are not typically included in your quote and will need to be accounted for separately.

Tip for your driver: Although it’s not required, most groups tip their charter bus driver anywhere from 5 to 10 percent of the cost of their bus rental for a job well done.

How to Save Money on a Chicago Charter Bus

There are a few ways you can save money on a Las Vegas bus rental:

Consider booking your Las Vegas charter bus service during the off-season if you can. There’s often better availability and more affordable pricing options. Charter bus booking is also more popular on weekends, so you can cut some costs if you plan your travel on weekdays.

Have a finalized headcount when you call. This will ensure we find you a charter bus that’s the proper size for your group, and you can avoid booking a larger bus model that costs more.

For overnight trips, call ahead to your hotel to ask if they are willing to provide a discounted rate for a room for your bus driver. Some hotels also offer free accommodations for bus drivers when you book a block of rooms.

Las Vegas Charter Bus Services is proud to offer transparent pricing options and help you understand how we determine the cost of your bus rental. Read on for a few examples of Las Vegas trips and how they would be priced, and if you have any questions, call us anytime at (725) 255-4534.

A 3-Day Business Trip in Las Vegas

A corporate team is traveling to Las Vegas to attend a conference at the Las Vegas Convention Center and want group transportation for the duration of their trip. They want to arrange for an airport transfer when they arrive and depart, plus a daily private shuttle for their employees to travel to the convention venue each morning and team dinners at the end of the day. The team manager decided to book a spacious 15-passenger minibus for three days and is quoted about $3,600 in total. The driver is local, so they don’t need to budget for driver accommodations, however they set aside $200 for daily and overnight parking fees, plus $250 for a driver’s tip.

A Las Vegas Wedding Shuttle Service

A couple is planning a fun, small wedding ceremony at the Little White Wedding Chapel for 20 guests and wants to offer group transportation for everyone to travel all together. They are staying overnight at the nearby Fremont Hotel & Casino, so want to schedule a group pick-up at 1:00 pm for a ceremony start time at 2:00 pm. Then, they want a ride back to their hotel at 3:00 pm. This can easily be arranged, however, Las Vegas Charter Bus Services requires a 5-hour minimum for all trips. The couple agrees to book a 25-passenger minibus for themselves and their guests, and is quoted $630 for the service. The couple also budgets $50 to tip their driver for the timely and safe ride.

A Group Tour to the Grand Canyon

A large group on vacation in Las Vegas is interested in booking a private tour bus for a custom day trip to the Grand Canyon. The trip is approximately four hours each way, so the tour group leader wants to book a comfortable bus with amenities like reclining seats, air-conditioning, and an onboard restroom to minimize pit-stops. They build an itinerary that includes an early morning departure from Las Vegas, an afternoon at Grand Canyon National Park and the Grand Canyon Village, and a return trip that arrives at 9:00 pm.

The tour group is visiting in April, which is during the off-season, and they need to rent a full-size charter bus in order to enjoy the amenities they want. Las Vegas Charter Bus Services quotes the group $1,350 for their bus rental to and from Las Vegas. The group leader will also need to budget a flat fee of $300 for entrance to the park with a high-capacity vehicle and a $135 tip for the driver.

A Private Shuttle to Attend a Major Concert

A group of 8 friends wants to rent private concert transportation to attend a show at the Resorts World Theatre. They want a pick-up at 6:00 pm so that they can enjoy dinner and drinks before the show starts at 8:00 pm, and then want a safe ride home at the end of the night at approximately 12:00 am. A sprinter van with a driver is perfect for the small group to travel comfortably, so for six hours of service, they are quoted about $900. The friends also budget for a $40 parking fee and a driver’s tip of $45.
